  • Head and Shoulders Portraits: My standard prices cover head and shoulders portraits on extra-smooth drawing pads with a white background. These prices are for the portrait and don’t include frames, postage, or packaging costs.
  • Whole-Body Portraits: The price will be slightly higher for those who want a whole-body pencil portrait. If you order a size A4, there’s a 20% price increase. For a size A3, it’s a 25% increase. This is simply because whole-body drawings require more detail and time to complete.

Square-Size Portraits: If you have something unique in mind, like a square-size pencil portrait, please contact me with the exact dimensions. I’ll be happy to send you a personalised quote.
A2 Size Portraits: Interested in a large A2-size portrait? Simply send me a clear, sharp copy of the original photo, and I’ll work out the price and deposit amount for you.

The Process

  1. Clear Photos: I can’t stress enough how important it is that the photographs you send are clear and sharp. The quality of the photo directly impacts the detail I can capture in your portrait. If you’re unsure if your photo is good enough, don’t worry – just get in touch or email it to me, and I’ll let you know if it’s suitable.
  2. Ordering: Once you’ve checked my prices and are happy to proceed, complete the order form on my website. To secure your order, I ask for a 20% non-refundable deposit. You can pay this easily using PayPal, which accepts all major debit and credit cards. After you’ve completed the order form and paid the deposit, I’ll confirm everything by email.
  3. Frames: If you need a frame to go with your portrait, I offer a framing service. You can choose from a variety of frame colours – just look at my frames page to see the options and prices.

Why Choose My Pencil Portraits?

  • Head and Shoulders Portraits: My standard prices cover head and shoulders portraits on extra-smooth drawing pads with a white background. These prices are for the portrait itself and don’t include frames, postage, or packaging costs.
  • Whole-Body Portraits: For those who want a whole-body pencil portrait, the price will be slightly higher. If you’re ordering a size A4, there’s a 20% price increase. For a size A3, it’s a 25% increase. This is simply because whole-body drawings require more detail and time to complete.

Attention to Detail: I put a lot of care into every portrait I create. Each drawing is done by hand, and I make sure to capture the personality and details of your subject, whether it’s a person, pet, or even a special place.

  • High-Quality Materials: I only use the best quality materials. The smooth surface of the drawing pad allows me to achieve fine, intricate details that bring your portrait to life. And the white background ensures that the focus stays on the portrait itself, giving it a clean, professional look.
  • Personal Service: You won’t just be another customer to me. I love working closely with my clients to ensure that they’re thrilled with the final result. Whether you have questions about your photo, need help deciding on the right size, or just want to check in on the progress of your drawing, I’m here to help.
  • Customised for You: Each portrait is fully customised to suit your preferences. Whether you want a small head and shoulders portrait or a large, full-body piece, I’ll work with you to create something special that you’ll treasure for years to come.
  • Affordable and Transparent Pricing: I believe in offering great value for money without hidden costs. You know upfront what to expect in terms of pricing. Plus, by offering different sizes and the option for custom dimensions, I can tailor the portrait to fit your budget and space.
